About Mr. Bowman

Hello! 

 

My name is Nathan Bowman and I am the band director at Southeast Middle School! 

 

I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Music Education and my Bachelors of Arts in Music with a concentration in Clarinet from Western Carolina University in 2014. Since then I have been teaching the love of music to middle school students! In 2019 I received my National Board Certification in Instrumental Music. When I am not teaching or playing my instrument, I enjoy spending time with my three daughters Amelia (8) and Alice (5) and Avery (1). My hobbies include reading, running, trips to Disney World and all things Marvel Comics! 

 

I have an exciting year planned for the 2026-2027 school year, including winter and spring concerts, contest festivals and a spring trip to Carowinds! I look forward to having students represent Southeast Middle at RSS Honor Band Clinics and even at the state level events!
